Texas ranks as the 10th least educated state in the U.S. The Lone Star State was also found to have one of the lowest percentages of high-school diploma holders. As your state representative, I am dedicated to ensuring that every child in Texas has access to a quality education and that families have the support they need to thrive. This includes protecting public education from budget cuts and ensuring that all children have access to safe and affordable childcare. Additionally, I am committed to expanding breakfast and lunch programs for families in need so that no child goes hungry. By investing in our education system and family support programs, we can build a stronger, more prosperous Texas for all.
Healthcare
Texas has been facing a growing healthcare crisis with increasing healthcare costs and limited access to affordable healthcare for its citizens. Texas ranks as the 8th worst state in the nation for healthcare and has the worst uninsured rate by a big margin. At a time when access to affordable healthcare is more important than ever, I am committed to working towards making it a reality for all Texans. As a dedicated advocate for public health, I understand healthcare's critical role in the lives of individuals and families. I believe that everyone should have access to quality healthcare, regardless of their income or background. Through collaboration and innovation, we can create a healthcare system that works for everyone. This means expanding access to preventative care, investing in community health programs, and supporting our healthcare workforce. I am committed to working with healthcare providers, policymakers, and community leaders to find practical solutions that improve health outcomes and reduce healthcare costs.

Clean Water
Texas is facing a serious environmental crisis as it continues to rank first in the United States for toxic dumping in our waterways. The state is grappling with emerging threats to its waterways, including the presence of PFAS forever chemicals, which have contaminated drinking water around the state. This has put people at risk of developing cancer, liver damage, and infertility. The situation demands immediate attention and action from all stakeholders. As your state representative, I am committed to ensuring that all Texans have access to clean and affordable water. Water is a basic necessity of life, and it's our responsibility to make sure that it's available to everyone. We need to work collaboratively to address this issue and find sustainable solutions to protect our waterways and ensure access to clean, safe drinking water for all Texans. It is imperative that we take steps to prevent toxic dumping and regulate the use of harmful chemicals in our industries. We also need to invest in water treatment technologies and infrastructure to ensure that our water sources are free from contaminants. Public Safety
Reports say that 66% of Texans are concerned about safety. As your state representative, I am dedicated to ensuring our communities are safe and secure. To achieve this goal, I will work tirelessly to enhance public safety measures and promote policies that create a safer Houston and Texas. I also believe in investing in education and job training programs, as well as mental health services, to help prevent crime and address the root causes of violence. Additionally, I am working to strengthen our infrastructure and emergency response systems to ensure that our communities are prepared for any situation. From advocating for stronger law enforcement and criminal justice reforms to supporting community-based initiatives addressing the root causes of crime, I am committed to making our neighborhoods safer. By working together, we can build a safer and more prosperous future for our families and communities.
LGBTQ Rights
Texas is ranked 8th worst business climate for the LGBTQ+ community, 6 out of 10 Texas cities are named among the least LGBTQ+ friendly, and Texas is one of the worst states for the LGBTQ+ community. As your state representative, it is my duty to ensure that every Texan is treated with dignity and respect, regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identity, race, or religion. I strongly believe that LGBTQ and basic human rights are fundamental to our society, and I am committed to fighting for these rights every day. I understand that discrimination against the LGBTQ community is still prevalent in many areas of our state, and it is unacceptable. I will work tirelessly to pass legislation that protects LGBTQ Texans from discrimination in employment, housing, healthcare, and other areas. I will also advocate for policies that promote inclusivity and equality in our schools and communities. I believe that by working together, we can create a more just and equitable society for all Texans.
Reproductive Rights
Texas is ranked 2nd worst for women’s healthcare. I stand behind my commitment to protect a woman's right to choose in Texas. Access to safe and legal abortion is a vital component of healthcare for women. I believe that every woman should have the right to make decisions about her own body and her own future. I will continue to support policies that protect women's health, safety, and autonomy. I am committed to ensuring that women in Texas have access to the healthcare they need and deserve. As your representative, I will work tirelessly to ensure that women's reproductive rights are protected and that they have access to the care they need. Together, we can create a society where women are empowered to make their own choices and where their voices are heard and respected.
